The Spot Prawn Festival is coming May 12th and 13th and Oceanfront Suites at Cowichan Bay is thrilled to show our support.
There are many great activities planned throughout the weekend for adults and children alike.
For Adults
Friday May 11th there is a Gala Fundraiser from 6:00-9:00pm at the new Maritime Centre.
Saturday May 12th brings Chef’s Prawn Cooking Demonstrations throughout the day with several fabulous chefs including Robert Clark, head chef of Vancouver’s “C Restaurant”.
Chef Dan Hudson is preparing prawn canapés for a Wine and Prawn Pairing both Saturday and Sunday.
For The Family
Stop by the Maritime Centre Open House to explore galleries, build a wooden model boat, and sample some hors d’oeuvres.
Then stop to get the kid’s faces painted, eat lunch at the food fair, and be entertained with a variety of live music.
For Sunday May 13th book your reservation at Terrain Kitchen for our delicious Mother’s Day Buffet Brunch. We’ll be offering a variety of Spot Prawn dishes, coffee, tea, and a complimentary mimosa for Mom. Seating is available at 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm. Book your reservation at 250-597-0050.
