Let me tell you a bit about myself. My passion is hospitality. In fact, it’s been my career since 1985. I began in the kitchen as a cook, then Chef de Partie and later as a Sous Chef in Switzerland. In 1991 I completed my Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration and began working in the office and operations of various hotels. I later completed my CRDE (Certified Rooms Division Executive) and my CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator). Since 2004, I was the Hotel Manager at the The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa.

Lisa McCormick did a fantastic job over the past few years turning Oceanfront into the wonderful property we see today, and putting every effort into ensuring that Oceanfront is a true neighbor and member of the Cowichan community. She has built strong partnerships with many of the local businesses – wineries, shops, farms, contractors, and many more! As the new GM, my goal is to continue to build on everything Lisa has done.

Itinerary

• Enjoy leisurely breakfasts 8:00 – 9:30am each morning at Terrain Restaurant.
• Board tour bus each day at 10:00am and return to hotel by 4:30pm.
• Dinner at the ‘Terrain Kitchen’ from 7pm – 9pm on Saturday, April 7, the ‘Local Wine Bar’ (featuring the wines on the tour) will be open for service.

Ho Ho Ho Santa’s coming for breakfast. Bring the kids and your camera Sunday December 9 or 16 and take your own photos with Santa. Each boy and girl will get a little pre-Christmas gift, and a chance to sit on Santa’s knee and tell him what they want for Christmas.
